The Mission stop is really great -- I'm glad you included a picture of it.

Re: cops leaving their engines running. It seems like they ALWAYS do that! I wonder if there's a practical reason (maybe something with the computers they have on board) or if it's just wastefulness.-- chasehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08657541233630675502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6609536178570975752.post-49292798425880186332009-05-04T07:20:00.000-07:002009-05-04T07:20:00.000-07:00I love those shots of Wilshire! You'll see a big cluster of tall buildings on the far left. That's downtown. And there are smaller clusters of tall buildings heading in a straight line toward the ocean. That's Wilshire. If there's anywhere in LA that a subway would be useful, that would be it.crzwdjkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06394805356595604336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6609536178570975752.post-39044961659405062502009-05-04T00:45:00.000-07:002009-05-04T00:45:00.000-07:00Very cool pictures. Reminds me of skytrain in Vancouver which runs under a building (which was built well after the line was). See a video here:
http://www.mefeedia.com/entry/skytrain-from-main-st-station-to-stadium-station/16979598

As for the police car, they run a huge amount of electronics. Between the computer(s), lights, radios, etc, they simply don't have the battery life to run all that without the car running. They need hybrid police cars.Corey Burgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17724691582911530338noreply@blogger.com
