I can haz more trains for other countries? He lauds the GE locomotives that are built in the United States, but gosh, let's not build more tracks for them to run here.
I particularly like that article's link to an article on the "car of the future"; it's rather depressing to discover what a scam it was -- during the Clinton Presidency as well as during the Bush II Presidency.

It's been a scam for over 100 years...
In fairness, I think that the Clinton-era Car of the Future is a halfway-reasonable design.
However, the Bush-II-era version is completely phony -- being hydrogen-fueled is an obvious giveaway.
