Curious Cameras on Trams

I thought this was an interesting video from 1908. I think people knew the camera was on the streetcar, and just like today were trying to ham it up.

    often ... when filming such films ... the camera crew would be riding on a small flat car being pushed by the tram itself ... making it plainly evident as to what they were doing ...

    of course ... the tech gets fancier ... but man animal hasn't changed all that much in a century

    What I find interesting are all the people on bicycles riding in front of the tram.

    Today people would complain about the rails in the street & say it makes it harder to ride a bike.
