Fox Earth Day Campaign Pushes Transit

I saw this commercial on Fox tonight. It went on in the middle of American Idol which is pretty amazing given there are millions of people who watch the show. If only they told the news wing about the environment.

Woo hoo! (Quoting Homer Simpson). One of my favourite Simpsons episodes is "Marge vs. the Monorail".

Nevertheless, I will say that some of the guys on Fox News who would come close to being anti transit include Bill O'Reilly (the worst there), Sean Hannity, and the always insane Glenn Beck.

The third consecutive comment by me: When I'm watching The Simpsons on Global, I see a commercial by its parent company, CanWest, propagandizing for automobiles. It is a propaganda piece for the auto dealers of Canada, which have been, in these words "giving Canadians FREEDOM & MOBILITY for 100 YEARS". (What I capitalized is as appearing on screen.)

Crap. I mute this commercial when I come down for The Simpsons and Family Guy. This crap about "freedom & mobility" was used by GM in a commercial once. Anybody remember?
